Element & Alloy Persona Diagnosis — Materials Science Meets Psychology
SOUL/ALLOY is a digital learning-content site where diagnosis results and material characters introduce users to elements, alloys, and materials science. The diagnosis is an entry point; the core offering is the L1-L3 explanations, materials data, history, applications, comparison, and synthesis-based learning experience.
Learning Packs sold through STORES are digital educational packs for deeper access to this site's online learning content. They are not standalone point sales or paid fortune-telling results, and no physical goods are shipped.
SOUL / ALLOY is a unique element & alloy persona diagnosis that combines materials engineering with psychology. 100+ personas (elements, alloys, ceramics, plastics, rubbers, pigments...) appear in the diagnosis, with the catalog still growing.
By mapping the physical properties of various materials—metals, alloys, plastics, rubbers—(such as strength, flexibility, corrosion resistance) to human personality traits, we achieve a scientific yet approachable personality analysis.
By integrating four frameworks—Jungian psychology (4 axes / 16 types), Big Five (five-factor model), the Enneagram (9 types), and RIASEC (Holland's six vocational interests)—together with our original model that quantifies material physical and chemical properties, we enable multifaceted personality analysis and material matching.
Psychological Tests Used
This diagnosis combines open-source psychological tests (OEJTS, Mini-IPIP, OEPS) based on Jungian typology with Holland's RIASEC vocational interest model. All are scientifically validated methods, restructured here as a proprietary entertainment & educational diagnostic system.
Score Calculation: Raw scores from each test are converted to a 0–100 scale. Big Five uses 10 items per factor, the Enneagram uses 4 items per type, and RIASEC uses 6 areas × 10 items — your top-3 areas form a Holland Code that summarizes your vocational interests. This allows consistent comparisons across tests.
※ The Material Properties Model evaluates how closely your personality matches material properties (metals, plastics, rubber, etc.) using four main factors: corrosion resistance, flexibility, cooperation, and strength. All scores are calculated with 50 as the center value, expressing relative strengths and weaknesses of traits.
On persona detail pages, you can switch between three levels of information depth according to your understanding. Use the 'L1 / L2 / L3' toggle in the header.

These properties correspond surprisingly well to human personality traits. Through scientifically grounded metaphors, you can understand your individuality more deeply.
Diagnosis and L1 content are available for free without account registration. Some advanced L2/L3 and premium features are provided via credits or Learning Packs. A monthly subscription is in preparation.
